Hi. I'm Anarki99, i come from Portugal and i'm a natural fan of Power Ranger since they started showing here in +10 years ago. I watched 9 seasons but then stopped because of "lack of interest"... But now i'm trying to remember the old days with the older series, especially the first 4/5 ones. I belive this is one of the most full of resources website but it has just a little problem. The design of the website and the forum system/design. I wanna ask the admin, if i can make a more "up to date" simple Power Rangers theme. Or i can discuss about opening a wordpress blog wich is also a good option because it is a more nice way to show current updates and all of the resources alredy here. Hope you enjoy my idea and i enjoy watching the older series. (PS: I believe i will make a subtitle for each 1ยบ episode of the seasons and then launch the most intested season. PS2: Portuguese Subtitles...) Thanks!  |

Welcome to the forum, glad you joined! I'm not sure what your problems with the site/forum design and system are, really. It's worked fine for us for a long time now. Do you want to make a new theme for the site or the forum? If you could explain in more detail just what you'd like to do I'd appreciate it. Again, welcome  |

Hi.
I have no problems with a simple template but i would like to develop a more up to date, 2.0 template. I talked about wordpress, because its a blog script and it may be easier to post news and organize downloads.
You are being hosted at tripod and the forum its on ProBoards. Have you ever think of moving the website and make a forum on a paid hosting?
Hey, that's just me. I'm really apreciated of the downloads you put on the website.

Thanks Unfortunately I can't pay for a site, I can't even have paid accounts anymore to make sure my downloads don't expire! So I can't upgrade  Unfortunately for the main site, that limits design immensely. With wordpress, you're suggesting an actual blog to post updates/news in from PRU??? (Bear with me, I'm computer-slow) I've never actually heard of wordpress. Thanks for the input, btw I appreciate it. |

Sorry for the late answer. Had theese days asking for a MU premium account and finnaly got it. Yah, i know what is money limits. But you could improve your free hosting. Tripod is full of ads, and pop-ups and has a slow server. I can elaborate you a list of good one's. (Or i can try to give you space on my server - i have 30 GB space and 300 GB bandwith). About the design i will only try after you decide what you wanna do... Read below.... Wordpress is the most simple and powerfull blog script system in this hole world. Yes, has i said it's a more organized way to put in order all the stuff on this website. (PS: And there hundreds of themes that you can edit and customize). About the forum, when you decide wich server you wanna use i can set up for you one of the following systems: phpBB2, phpBB3, SMF, myBB, etc (if you have other in mind...) As always there are alot of themes to choose. To know more about wordpress you can use this 2 links: wordpress.org/ -> Wordpress System Project Main Page wordpress.com/ -> Wordpress Free System (They are using Wordpress MU), it's something nice, you can make a test blog and see how it is, but it is not resource full, so you may choose installing the script on your own server for full control. I don't think I really want to move the site or forum right now, I already have a lot going on I don't think I could deal with more! I'm in the middle of redoing a lot on the site anyway, I don't know a lot about computers so this works fine for me  Thanks, though! |

I could do that for you, free of charge, it doesn't bother me at all.
I know alot of computers so it will be a clean and easy job. I do things like this for almost 4 years now...
