Erin Cahill was on tonight's episode!!! *WOOT WOOT* She did a great job, too. I was sad to see her die
And now for my "review" of the new episode.....
Holy...crap!!! That episode kicked ass, I'm on Cloud 9 right about now, seriously floating around all giddy and happy because SPN finally delivered something awesome. The gross factor--the woman's teeth falling out and the maggot-burger was so disgusting. The Hurt!Dean.
And Ruby is now officially AMAZING. I love her character. Katie Cassidy's acting tonight was fine by me (although I'm sure some people didn't like it), and Ruby's backstory? Gah...just so good. Especially when combined with Dean going to Hell and the possibility of him turning into a demon! That's certainly enough to make him want to get out of the deal! Oh! And Ruby can't save Dean? Didn't see that one coming...
Sam was badass in this episode, too, he was scary as hell when he was pointing the gun at those witches and threatening all of them. Oh, and the demon was cool, too. The way she stopped that bullet literally made my jaw drop--even the YED never did that!
Scene that broke my heart? When Dean was hurt and trying to cling onto Sam, but Sam had to run away from him. It was just so sad, and from the moment Dean made that deal, it's how I picture his death to go--Sam being too busy trying to find a way to save him, and not being there for him. Also, Dean finding out about what really happens in Hell was sad, too.
The bad?
Well, I was a little confused by Ruby's speech to Dean. She was so certain he would forget everything and become a demon, but it didn't happen to her so...why? Sure, she became a demon, but she admittedly remembers being a human. So who's to say Dean won't as well? *shrugs*
The coloring annoyed me as always, but I won't rant about that.
I thought the woman who played "Mrs. Renee van Allen" was a poor actress, but really, it didn't draw me out too much. It's not like she was in the majority of the episode.
I might have more complaints later (I always do after analyzing the episode further), but I think it's safe to say when I wake up tomorrow I'll still be happy with it. So YAY!!!
